Banjaar Tola by Taj Safaris is named after the Banjaar river which flows alongside the Lodge. This river also seperates the core and buffer area of Kanha National Park. A beautiful tented accommodation wherein every tent is pitched just on the edge of the river. The private sit outs are very consuming, you will tend to feel lost while being there, time literally flies while exploring this Lodge. Hearing the Tigers growl is quite common, and not very rare is at times even sighting Tiger in this Camp. There will be occassions when you step out of your tent to go for the early morning safari, and you will be pleasantly surprised to see absolutely fresh pug marks of the Tigers who crossed you while you were sleeping. Of all the Taj Safari camps in India, this is one that stands out as far as location is concerned. Worth every penny spend if you feel it is steep. The Chef here takes special interest in understanding your taste, and willing to teach you the art of Indian cooking if you so desire.
